What a busy week for music! On Tuesday night, our school choir took part in the Leicester- Shire Schools Music Service celebration of music at the De Montfort Hall in Leicester. Not only did our choir look extremely well presented they sang beautifully too. Thank you to all the parents who have helped with arrangements and especially to Miss Compton who has led the choir through their rehearsals.

Last night also saw the second night of this musical festival, with the children who have been learning stringed instruments for a second year performing on stage along with other children from across the county. They were brilliant!

Performing on stage in a large venue must be quite a daunting but exciting experience and I know that all the children involved in these two evenings will remember it for years to come. We hope everyone who watched these two performances was as proud of them as we were.
