Warning Zone

What should you do?

On Tuesday Year 5 and 6 visited The Warning Zone in Leicester, a visit which we organise to support our PSHE curriculum.

The Warning Zone visit educates children approaching secondary school about a variety of possible scenarios that they might face. These credible life-like situations require decisions to be made and then the consequences are discussed. At 10 years of age, children are beginning to make decisions that affect their safety, so learning at the Warning Zone encourages responsible behaviour and safe decision making. This supports the social and personal development of children through the teaching of vital life skills.

The children thoroughly enjoyed their experience and we hope that they have had the opportunity to discuss at home what they have learnt from the day. Please ask them!
